Cute and simple knitted crop top. This pattern as some intermediate techniques but should be simple enough for a beginner to advance their skills.
This crop top is knit using Lion Brand Truboo in the colour slate. The yarn can be substituted for another similar lvl 3 light yarn.

Row 1: With the purl side facing you, attach your yarn, p2tog, purl the remaining stitches
Row 2: Knit, until 2 stitches remain, k2tog
Row 3: p2tog, purl the remaining stitches
Row 4: knit until 2 stitches remain, k2tog
Row 5: Purl
Row 6: knit
Row 7-10: Repeat row 5-6
Row 11: Purl
Row 12: bind off
Piecing the crop top together
Now that you have both pieces complete it is time to start seaming the piece together.
Starting at the shoulders seam together the top of the shoulders using the invisible horizontal seam.
Using the mattress stitch, seam together the sides. Make sure to leave an opening for your arm holes. Look at the chart for the respected armhole size.
Optional: You can add a neckline. I did not add one, I preferred the raw look.
